There are many varieties of Hydrangeas available for the landscape. We only grow a few varieties here at our nursery. Hydrangeas are mostly known for their large clusters of flowers in either pink or blue. Usually it depends on the amount of aluminum in the soil to determine the color. Alkaline soils are higher in aluminum and make pinker flowers. Acidic soils make bluer flowers. These like a little bit of shade.

There are other varieties though that have white flowers. Some come in a flat form with tiny flowers in the center of a ring of larger petals. We carry white varieties that thrive in the sun. They can even be grown in an upright form like a small tree. Hydrangea leaves are large and coarse giving the shrub a much larger presence in the landscape even when it isn't flowering.

Quantities on some of these Hydrangeas are very limited.
